Triathlon Training with Newmarket Cycling & Triathlon Club

At Newmarket Cycling & Triathlon Club, we are dedicated to supporting athletes of all levels and ages — from first-time triathletes to seasoned competitors. Our fully qualified British Triathlon coaches deliver structured training to help you achieve your goals, whether you’re aiming for your first Super Sprint or tackling the challenge of an Ironman.

We’re proud to have athletes ranging from juniors through to super-vets, all training and progressing together in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Coaching takes place every Monday evening, rotating between swimming, cycling, and running. The rotation is either fortnightly or every three weeks, depending on the time of year, giving you a well-balanced programme across all three disciplines.

Swimming

Refine your technique, improve endurance, and build confidence in the water. Sessions focus on stroke mechanics, breathing, and efficiency, with personalised feedback for all abilities.

Cycling

Boost your power, endurance, and bike handling with structured rides covering everything from intervals to hill climbs. Whether preparing for a sprint or Ironman, our sessions will help you perform at your best.

Running

Develop speed, technique, and stamina with coached sessions tailored to your goals. From intervals and tempo runs to longer efforts, we’ll help you run stronger and smarter on race day.s.
