What Are Multisport Events?

If you enjoy mixing things up, multisport events are a great way to challenge yourself and have fun. Here’s a quick guide to the main types:

Triathlon

The classic combination — swim, bike, run.
Distances range from:

  • Super Sprint: 400m swim / 10km bike / 2.5km run

  • Sprint: 750m / 20km / 5km

  • Olympic: 1.5km / 40km / 10km

  • Middle or Long Distance (Ironman): 1.9–3.8km / 90–180km / 21–42km

Duathlon

No swimming — just run, bike, run.
